Foreclosures in Town?

Posted by CityBlogAL on May 28th, 2007

Can anyone speak to the issue of foreclosures in Montgomery, Alabama? Foreclosures are up around the country due to the sub-prime lending practices. Is there any foreclosure impact on real estate in Montgomery?

My name is David McGhee Jr. I am a local realtor in Montgomery, AL. I am with Courtesy Realty 4131 Carmichael Road. To answer your question we do have a lot of foreclosures in Montgomery. And yes it has been because of the sub-prime mortgage. But most of the foreclosures are around the 50k to 70k price range. There are some bank foreclosures in Millbrook ranging from 300k to 400k. Please e-mail or contact me at 334-300-5098 if I can help you any further or you can e-mail me @ david45789@aol.com. Thanks and have a great day.
